positive:Great bouqet, color, and sharpness. Quick focus on the 7d
negative:Fairly light build - guess I'm spoiled for all metal bodies and barrels.
comment:Excellent walk around lens - ditch the petal hood that comes with it if used on 5d or 7d. With the crop factor you can use a full hood and avoid the flair much better than the hood it comes with and wind up with sharper images. There is some distortion at the wide end but no more than one would expect with a zoom. Well within limits and much, much better than the super zooms (18-200) It's just a much better lens than the all in one zooms. Nice combination with the 100-300 APO.
