comment: | a really nice lense ! this lense has a very nice range, which works better on a full-frame camera, then on a 1.5x cropped one, like the 7D. becomes a 36-156mm and therefore lacks the wide angle. however, on the 7D i get the most of my pictures with this lense, and mostly they are razor sharp... like said on other sites, this lense gives the sharpest pictures around f/8+, which is true. i've heard rumours about varying production quality, but in my case, nothing to complain about. it's one of the best lenses for the 7D, given the range, quality, design and sharpnes. -IMHO My lense broke, the focus system stopped working :( |
