negative: | Front barrel wobbles when zoomed out. Similar to the Tokina 24-200 zoom. |
comment: | I have compared the Minolta 24-85, 24-105, Tokina 24-200 and the Tamron 24-135. The Tamron beats them all at all focal lengths. The Tamron is also built more solid than all of the mentioned lenses. Just purchased a Konica-Minolta 28-75 f2.8 D and have not had a chance to compare them all on the same subject. The Minolta 28-75 f 2.8 D has the same front end wobble as the Minolta 24-105. I wonder if this is something inherent in the Minolta zooms. |
