positive:Sharp
Light and portable
Good flare control
Great on Film camera
negative:Build quality is a little plasticky
Not wide enough on APS-C
comment:Love this lens. Bought it off a friend who wanted something with more reach and i love it. Although the build quality is less than what im used to with first and second generation Minolta AF lenses, i still like using it most of the time both on APS-C and on Film.
Since i Mostly shoot B\W Film, i prefer it as a walk around lens for my Maxxum 9. The 24 end is great for film but not wide enough on APSC. Although i would still pick my 24 2.8 over it if i need a wide lens, i still highly recommend it if you need to take your camera and only one lens.
