positive:	Very sharp stopped down Usably sharp wide open Typical Minolta colour Solid build Good weight and on-camera balance Decent range
negative:	Nothing.
comment:	Very good lens, above f5.6 as good as the other lenses (except 24-105- see comment below) at similar focal lengths. Let down slightly by its performance at max. aperture at the wide end but I have rated a 5 for sharpness because it is still very usable and 4.75 not an option. Better than the Minolta 24-105 at all apertures and focal lengths. Recommended
