ownership:I own this lens
compared to:min24-105(d),18-70/kit, Min 28/2.8, Sig 18-50/3.5d, Sig 28-200/3.5d
price paid:Ł28
positive:Cheap, solid construction, fastish focus. nearly as sharp as my 24-105rs(d)with a tad less CA at the 105 end. Motor zoom is surprisingly usable.
negative:Tis a bit of a lump it must be said, horrible power focus thus the 3 for construction.
comment:Underated i think, not a lens I hang on the A100 much anymore since getting the 24-105 but a cheepy for those places where you dont wish to take the best glass. and perhaps a cheap walkaround on the 900 too.
