positive:Pretty sharp, good range for people shooting at parties, etc.
negative:bokeh is a little rough compared to my 35-200xi
comment:I'd probably use this lens over the 18-70 kit in most situations outside of needing a really wide angle. Seems a little more vibrant colorwise, with greater tele range.

Bokeh is the only downfall, not too smooth, so for general walkaround I'll leave that terrific 35-200xi on the 7d
