ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony DT 18-70 kit
Sony 50 1.8 SAM
Sony DT 55-200
price paid:60 CND (Used)
positive:-Good Range
-Sharpness (1to2 stop down)
-Color contrast (personal preference)
-Excellence quality for what I paid
-Solid Build
-Motor Zoom good for video shooting
-A nice walk-around lens
negative:- MF is impossible to use
- 28mm sometime is not wide enough for landscape shooting
- a bit too heavy
- the original hood is way too small
- hard to have grip on the front cap with the hood on
comment:If you like "xi" lens this is the best walk-around lens. it cover 85% of my shots.
Nothing to complaint on what I paid
