ownership:I own this lens
compared to:28-105, 28-13
price paid:Aus$800. 5 years ago
positive:Built like a tank, and internal zoom. APerture, Minolta colours are wonderful
negative:Min focus distance as everybody says- sharpness at 70mm not ideal (at wide open) but good between 28-50. The painting of numbers to indicate focal length has worn awawy (minor gripe!)
comment:It's a lovely lens and the build and quality are great. Sharpness however at 70mm at 2.8-3.5 is not perfect.
