negative:-slow AF
-heavy
comment:It is my most used lens. I bought it in 2006 new.
It is sharp, even wide open. Colors are very good. Bokeh is beautiful. AF is very slow, but with good use, it is no problem. The noise is so loud, everyone is knowing you are taking some pictures.
Flare can be a problem, but I use my hand like an hood.
