ownership:I own this lens
compared to:35-70 both copies, 35-105 both copies sony 18-55 & many other minolta lenses
price paid:AU$50
positive:cheap, light, great colours & sharpness
negative:build, macro has manual focus only
comment:This is my second copy of this lens and I believe it performs as well as most of the non original minoltas out there. The colous and sharpness are definatly as good as the 35 -70 f3.5-4.5 & 35-105N.
