positive:Classic Minolta colours, and surprisingly sharp.
Usable macro mode.
negative:Mine is slightly loose for the manual focusing ring and slightly tight with the zoom ring, but it's still very usable.
No AF in macro mode, but modern cameras make focusing manually easy.
comment:I don't understand why this is rated so low here. Perhaps it's sample variation - these are old! - but my copy is miles better than the Sony kit lenses and you can't argue with the price you can get this for.

Given a good copy, you have to spend much more to get better results, and the only reason I don't use it much is that I did...
