comment: | Bought this lens for a song on Ebay and am most impressed with it - far sharper than my previous walkaround lens, a Sigma 18-50 EX DC - but it does need reasonable light levels. This doesn't bother me as I tend to shoot on sunny days anyway! My particular lens is very sharp but I gather that there can be some variation amongst these lenses. The lens hood is far too small and is useless. Haven't found a replacement yet. Overall a very underated lens. |
