comment:I really like using this lens even though there are short comings.
People mention flare, sharpness (or the lack of it at corners) are all true but if you are not making a living with photography I think this is one gem of a lens that won't cost you an arm and a leg. Playing around with it and knowing its strength and weakness; you will see that great photos can be made with this. Pixel pepping sometimes ruins the "art" in photography.
