ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony 70-400mm G
price paid:$600 AUD
positive:I just bought this lens for $600 AUD in perfect condition.
But unfortunately, the chip in the lens was dead so I have no control over the aperture as well as the AF because the camera was not able to identify the lens. The mechanism in the lens are fine but the camera don't know how much it should turn to drive the focus nor how high should it lift the aperture lever. I still bought the lens because I knew this lens is super rare in Australia and don't want to spend thousands of extra dollars to import from US or Japan.

Currently I only could use the lens in MF and the aperture is locked at maximum f2.8 as default. After spending some time searching I found out you can buy a replacement chip from a dude called James Laot so I did then waiting for the chip to arrive in Australia and I will update more.
negative:My chip was dead but maybe it's fixable?
