ownership:I own this lens
compared to:- Tamron 70-200
- Minolta 75-300 II
price paid:1820€ (2nd hand)
positive:- Sharp
- Build quality
- AF speed
negative:- Heavy (obviously for a 300/2.8)
- A bit expensive for a 25yo lens, but totally worth it
comment:By far, the most expensive lens I own, and also the best.

I use it almost exclusively for soccer and the results are astonishing. The autofocus is fast and accurate on my A550 and the image quality is already high wide open.

I can't find anything bad about this lens.
