Good handholding lens
AF fast enough
comment:Suprisingly very sharp (much better than what i expected from photodo numbers) wide open. I would put it at 4.75 sharpness compared to the superb 400G. Nevertheless I am extremely impressed with its sharpness.

Also works very well with Minolta 1.4x TC. Again very, very satisfactory results from wide open. The only drawback is a bigger probability of PF.

I like the colours and contrast of this lens a fair bit - and is one of the main difference I see over the 100-300APO..

AF is fast enough (and faster than 400G).

Good handholding lens IMO - nice tradeoff of weight (+quality) vs focal length.
