comment:Fantastic piece of kit with or without TC. Fast - like very fast! - A.F. Sharpness, colour... why am I bothering with this? Look, this is very simple, it is another killer Minolta lens and if you want this focal range buy it if you can find it because you will not be disappointed. Want something G-class but longer? Get the 400 and pay twice the price. Want something faster? Get the 200 2.8 but accept shorter focal length. This does an awesome job with a Minolta TC with a 7d or a 5d. MF at around 900mm with the x2 or AF at around 640 with the X1.4? Another lens peolple buy but don't tend to sell. That should tell you the story .
