ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Will compare to MD 35-135
price paid:Not a steeply priced
positive:-AF is not super slow

-Bokeh is super nice in a mellow way in macro mode and rather nice in non-macro mode.

-Color.. it really is the first time "Minolta colors" has any meaning to me.

-It isn't large and balances rather nicely on the A6000 with the LA-EA2.
negative:-My copy isn't super sharp until f/8 but neither is it as bad as my Beercan was beyond 150mm at equal apertures

-AF is not super quiet
comment:I've been using it with the LA-EA2 and both it and the lens are a bit noisy and the combo works okay. My copy looks a fair bit used and I don't know if it is representative as far as sharpness goes but it isn't what I'd call "soft" even wide open.

Green becomes a darker shade of green with this lens and it does things with other colors too; something I like.

I will try and compare it with the MD 35-135 during the summer and revise this review following.
