ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Tokina ATX Pro 28-70. Tokina AF 19-35. Minolta 135 2.8. Kit 18-70.
price paid:£20 with camera
positive:Sharp; quick auto focus.Well made.Feels substantial on 5D.Love the macro facility.Manual focus seems more like 'fine tune' control. Has same 'magic' as 135 2.8 but is more versatile. Love the colour.Lovely with A55.
negative:Wish it was a 17-105 with same quality...and price!
comment:I bought this lens atached to a Minolta 7000 for L20 on Seedybay. I have been amazed and thrilled at how similar it performs to my fav.135 2.8. yet it is so much more versatile and the macro facility is an extra excellent bonus.
