ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Beercan, Sony 55-200mm, 100-300mm APO
price paid:180
positive:Sharp, Bokeh
negative:CA, not really wide on APS-C
comment:I am very surprised how sharp the lens is at 200mm wide open.
It's not a fast lens, but the bokeh and sharpness is on par with the beercan at 200mm 5.6. The MFD is only 500mm which is good for close-up photo.
This lens even is sharper the Min 100-300mm APO!
At the short end, it's not really wide on APS-C cameras.
I prefer this lens to the combo (35-105mm + 100-300APO)
