comment:Pretty useful lens for outdoors and surprisingly good with bounce flash indoors. Color is great, I feel that this is a very underrated lens.

The zoom is awkward and manual focusing is difficult, but I rarely MF in good light anyway.

Overall this lens is more useful to me than the 28-135 because of the MFD dilemma.

Videos shot with this lens on a99 are generally great quality at F4.5-5.6.

Overall I'd say this lens is my best value purchase to date.
