ownership:I used to own this lens

Minolta 50mm f 1.7
Sigma 10-20mm EX DG

positive:Very neat and quick to focus the build quality is excellent
Macro focusing is quite easy.
negative:Only manual focus in macro
comment:I bought this a cheaper way of getting a medium view on APS-C. It is a very good lens I am surprised the price remains so low compared with other short zooms. I can't help comparing it with my 24mm f 2.8 which is an oustanding lens if I didn't own this lens I would have given it 5 for build quality.
