|compared to:||I've had most of the other "good" Minolta standard zooms. This is right up there for sharpness, and I remember contrast as being high.|

Very light and compact.

Cannot remember whether distortion was significantly less bad then the other lenses, but in any case, how difficult is it to try to rationalise distortion, which varies massively along a zoom's focal length, into one crude whole number? I can't do it effectively, and I think I'm more meticulous than many!
