ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Minolta 35-105 (beercan) and 28-105 (modern).
price paid:20 EUR
positive:- Metal (beercan)
- Compact
- Colours
- Simply to use, 49mm filter screw.
negative:- Zoom range X2
- Only outdoor : sharpness becomes interesting at f/7.1 for portrait, too soft indoor
- Has lost its "soul" (street photography) with X1,6 cropping factor (digital sensors).
- What's the interest for this macro mode ?
comment:Not so sharp for portrait : requires at least f/7.1 stop down.
I prefer some other old lenses for portrait : Minolta 100-200, 35-105, 28-105.
Is no more a "street photography" lens (35-70mm equiv 24x36 SLR = 55-110mm equiv digital sensor DSLR).
What is the interest for this lens today ?
