positive:I'm on my second copy of this lens and my expectations where low. The last one I had was reasonably sharp, but nothing special. The copy I recently purchased on Ebay is a cross X version and the sharpness blew away my expectations. Wide open it's really impressive and the color and contrast are awesome. Really happy with it.
negative:I forgot how bad the minimum focus distance is. It sucks, but I'll learn to live with it. Also, it's kinda wimpy looking on my a850.
comment:I'm really happy with this lens and it's a good range on full frame. Not so much for APS-C. Sharpness wide open is very sharp on my copy and the colors and contrast are amazing.
