|comment:||This little gem is one of my favorites, the IQ is always stunning, almost 3D like. I really can not find any fault with this lens other then the focal length range on my Sony A200. But it still seems to be on that body more often then others. The 35-105mm is close in sharpness but wide open in my opinion the 35-70 is better stop it down a tad and it rivals a prime. I have not seen lens flare (I use a hood) or CA with this lens.|
These can be had cheap on the used market and I would highly recommend this lens to any one. I have also used this lens quite often in the macro mode, tack sharp.
Edit: This lens is beautiful paired with my a850, the focal length range, sharpness and color.
