compared to:
missing
price paid:40 CAD (like new)
positive:light and small
Sharp
Cheap
Strong build
Easy to find
Macro mode
negative:Zoom range is sad on A300
F4 is a challenge is low light
comment:The range is odd on non-full frame. But if you look for a decent walkaround. This is the one. At its range, it is much better than the sony 18-70 kit. It also allow you to switch to macro. I dont use macro much but it is a plus. If you can get it for less than 50-70 CAD$. Why not?

I recently found a chinese version of dyxum. Their sample pictures of this lens are amezing. Check out at http://forum.xitek.com/showthread.php?threadid=349607
