comment:As has been said before, strange lens. But I don't think it's altogether bad. It's clearly soft when it's wide open in bright conditions (you can see the flaring around highlights all over the shop in the live view!). But when the aperture is set to around f7.1 it actually takes a pretty sharp shot.

I learnt a lot as a beginner from owning this lens. I think my £21 wasn't wasted, even though the built in lens cover was broken.
