ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Minolta 35-70 F4
Minolta 28mm F2.8
Minolta 28-105 F3.5-4.5
price paid:600 AUD (2010 ex+)
positive:sharp, colour, snappy focus
negative:none for me
comment:Appears to render images marginally more contrasty and saturated than Minolta G lenses but still natural looking. Probably my most used lens.

Wonderfully sharp and I have easily made A0 prints from 8bit jpeg files captured through this lens.

Light, fast and sharp from wide open. A classic and very happy to have it.
