positive:Excellent sharpness even wide open (f2), well-saturated colors, very compact
negative:small focussing ring, dedicated petal-lens hood not enough to control flare, I use the 100mm f2 hood instead.
comment:An excellent performer in the Minolta prime lens line-up, a more practical choice compared to the f1.4 version. Makes a very good standard lens on the 7D/5D (~50mm w/1.5x crop factor). Sharpness is incomparable to any zoom lenses. A must have lens for all Minolta digital slr users.
