comment:Well Minolta really built a gem here, its razor sharp across the frame and not to big, I have great success hand held as long as I keep the shutter speed at 1/500, when using a monopod you can shut the shutter speed down to 1/200, would highly recommend getting a monopod when using this lens at sunrise and sunset or when using a 1.4 teleconverter. If you like wildlife shots or if you need some reach for outdoor portraits or at the beach this is the lens to have . (better than the Sony 70-400 f4 as good as the Minolta 200 f2.8 and the Sony 300 f2.8)
