| comment: | Sharpness never disappointed on film, even wide open. Extra demands of FFd mean I need stop it down to f2.8 to get a usable DOF for portrait work. This applies equally to my 35/1.4 as it does to this lens. Mostly better all round than than 50/1.7 on film, but not significantly so. AF speed similar. |
