comment:This lens is fantastic value for money, especially if you're starting out. F1.7 means it's one of the cheapest minolta lens out there for low light photography. In the APS-C format, the wide aperature also makes it suitable for potrait and nice bokeh. It is definitely the best lens in its price range.
