ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Maxxum 35-70 f/4, 28-80 Xi, 35-105 old-style
price paid:? bought with M7K
positive:Sharp, fast, light. Nice short-tele for APS-C.
negative:None
comment:Sharper than the zooms esp in f/3.5 to 5.6 range. Less CA than 28-80Xi. Indispensable in late afternoon/early evening and (before antishake) on dim/cloudy days. Fine on full frame (film), and on my a350. Bought as kit lens with Maxxum 7000 in 1986, no trouble ever.
