comment:My first real macro lens. Although still learning, I love it. Besides the usual macro properties (excellent sharpness and contrast) I like the fairly 'normal' perspective of this focal length - although one has to get really close for macro shooting. A little added bonus of 50mm is increased 'handholdability' compared to longer focal lengths.
Using the focus limiter AF is fairly fast in the longer range.
