comment:Even at 1:2 reproduction, this is a superb quality lens that produces tack sharp colourful images with buttery smooth bokeh. A compact lightweight macro/portrait prime. At 50mm, it's quite short in terms of macro lenses which I think are best between 90mm-105mm and 1:1 reproduction, but it's still an excellent lens for the price. A real pleasure to use.
