ownership:I own this lens
compared to:- Sigma F/2.8 90mm Macro
- Soligor F/3.5 100mm ("Plastic Phantastic")
- Minolta Rokkor MD Macro F/3,5 50mm
price paid:150 Euro (mint)
positive:- extremely sharp
- Minolta colors
- solidly built
- small and light
negative:- 1:2 only
- wish it were a bit faster
comment:A little marvel of a lens with a very nice haptic feeling. Even for regular, non-macro photography I prefer it over the Minolta AF F/1.7 50mm. It is really very, very sharp (much better than my MD Rokkor), has a fine micro-contrast and very good colors.
