ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Any other lens I have ever used, including Z. Planars, pale in comparison.
price paid:$100.00
positive:Sharp. Did I mention sharp?
negative:Nuttin. High ISO's eliminate need for the f2.8 version.
comment:This lens is the perfect 75mm walkaround with APS-C cameras. As a portrait lens, the "soft" features of the A57 make this lens sing. It stays on my camera 99% of the time. The recessed optics of this lens act as a sun shade as well. If you can find one, buy it.
