positive:Small size, sharp, macro capability.
negative:Sometimes tricky AF, can be prone to back focusing.
comment:My favorite lens. It lives on my camera. Very sharp, even at 3/5. Great for general photography, stock pictures etc. I love the bokeh. I use it for almost anything really. If I don't take my camera bag out with me (and so am limited to one lens) this is usually what comes with.

For the macro stuff I've done (not a lot admittedly) the 3.5 aperture or the magnification ratio an issue.
