ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sigma 105mm Macro, Sony 50 1.4
price paid:180 USD used
positive:SHARP, SHARP, SHARP. Auto focus is quite fast for a macro lens, small and light, cheap
negative:A little plastic for my taste, Macro 1:2
comment:I didnt bought this lens for macro photography, I mostly do street photography, and I was looking for a very sharp 50mm lens. I ask in the lens forum wich will be the best 50mm that could bring the sharpeness and microcontrast of my other lenses (Minolta 200mm G HS, Minolta 85mm G, Zeiss 135, STF) and the winner was this lens. I'm glad I ask, now my Sony 50 1.4 stays at home
