ownership:I used to own this lens
compared to:Minolta 100mm f2.8 Macro RS
Minolta 35-105mm (Old)
price paid:120€ (used)
positive:SHARPNESS
compact and lightweight
quick AF for a macro
Cheap (but very rare!)
Distortion
negative:Ratio 1:2
f3.5 only
comment:ratio 1:2 and f3.5 max : it is specs !! So I knew it before to buy it !!! So it is not real negative points.

I like to use that lens for portraiture. I also have the 100mm Macro but often it is too long. 50mm is better for me.

For macro, yes it is only 1:2, so if I really need to do it, I use my 100mm Macro.
