compared to:100-200mm f4.5
price paid:5500 INR (78$ aprx)
positive:Good build

negative:Sharpness not adequate
Colors not great
comment:I purchased this lens to have a cheap zoom option. Read some articles that it ran the famous beercan very close on some tests. But once I tested this, I was not satisfied with the sharpness and color rendering. Was expecting much more from the famed Minolta line up.

I returned it immediately and researched further and found the 100-200 f4.5 to be more likeable and well respected and liked across forums and reviews. Ordered the 100-200 f4.5 for a much cheaper price. Glad I returned this one
