positive:fairly compact
Useable at full aperture
Nice colours
reasonable bokeh
Works well on A7 with LA-EA4
Usefully sharp near MFD
MFD & magnification is good enough for nature pics
weather sealed
negative:Corners a bit soft, though not much CA
Not of much value on APS-C
comment:Hardly used this until I got the A7Rii and now it's a regular choice for 'A-mount' days or when I want a decent FF long zoom. Seems sharper at full aperture than expected and the corners aren't bad either, though it needs f8-11 if you want them looking crisp and clean.
