ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Beercan
Tamron 70-200 2.8 Di LD Macro
price paid:70 USD used
positive:Sharp! (sharper than my beercan)
Light weight and easy to carry
Much cheaper than a beercan.
negative:Slower than the Tamron or Beercan at full zoom
comment:This was my main hiking lens for a trip to Glacier and Banff. It's great for closer wildlife when a longer reach isn't required. It's my favorite lens to take to the zoo. It doesn't attract lots of attention, so it's great for use in crowds. If you can find one buy it. I traded my first copy and immediately regretted it, so I jumped at the chance to buy this one when I found it.
