comment:For the price that this lens go for I don't see to much wrong with it. I would highly suggest anyone who is just starting out to keep an eye out for this lens as it a very good for the money. The sharpness of this lens is quite good though a little soft wide open, then there is the issue of CA which is pretty much always there no matter what under well lit/high contrast areas. The bokeh for this lens is relatively pleasing along with the fact that it has a very good minimum focusing distance, with a maximum magnification of 0.25x. And even though the lens may have internal zoom it does extend when focusing and to make matters worse the front element rotates when focusing, though its is only an issue if you use circular polarizers.

For the price that this lens can be bought at I feel this is a buy very few would be disappointed in.
