comment:I bought this to photograph my daughters gymnastic competition and was really pleased with the results. Excellent speed of focus, focal length, brightness and colours even with high ISO & shutter speed. This lens comes into its own when shooting outdoors though, the images are almost 3D.
I paid top dollar but the lens had never been used before and was well worth the money. IMO the Beercan is a must for any Sony Alpha owner!!

Edit.. After buying the Sigma 50-150 I've dropped the sharpness from 5 to 4.
