negative:heavy (i felt it quite heavier than the Apo HS which i also own, maybe because i did not use the grip that usualy balances the weight)
Focus is loud
No focus hold button
comment:I got this lens for quite cheap ... was sold as defective.
I managed to fix its defects and the lens operates flowlessly.
Tac sharp. amazing minolta colors. super shallow DOF which gives a 3D rendering IMO.
A great lens that definitely deserve its Golden ring
