comment:This is still my favorite one. I also have the 28-70 g. Speed was with both lenses an issue on my 5d. now with the 700, the 80-200g is perfect, the 28-70 is still slow.

Update: just back from Safari trip and just to confirm that this is great for this purpose, especially if you add an converter 2,0 for additional distance. It is quick, sharp and the colors are great.
Furthermore, i used the pictures to make large prints. Although using a cheap picture shop (pixum), the large print (a3) looks great.
