ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Tokina AT-X300
price paid:EUR1030 (2nd h)
positive:Sharp
Vivid colours
AF OK on a700
negative:Slightly soft wide open
Tripod collar not detachable
Slow AF on D7D
comment:To me, a far more appealing lens than the whites. Optically identical to first generation white 80-200, at half the price for a 2nd hand lens. Bought this as a successor to a AT-X300 and it really pays off. Faster AF, even on D7D, better sharpness and colours.
